The
Bitterroot Fish Hatchery Guest House is located on the very western
edge of Montana some 12 miles from the Idaho border. More specifically
we are fifty miles south of Missoula, Montana in the heart of the
Bitterroot Valley near the town of Hamilton, about half way between
Glacier National Park and Yellowstone Park.
Driving
Directions
From
Missoula, Montana:
Head south on Highway 93 to Hamilton continue south through town
another two miles Skalkaho Highway 38 departs to the left or east.
Take this road for 2.5 miles to the south and east until you see
Fish Hatchery Road on the left or north side. Follow Fish Hatchery
Road to the north for .5 mile. We are on the left or east side of
the road with a large log mailbox. Our road number is 620 Fish Hatchery
Road.
From Salmon, Idaho or South Bitterroot Valley:
Head
north on Highway 93 toward Hamilton. Darby is 17 miles south of
Hamilton. From Darby travel roughly 15 miles north. You will pass
over the Bitterroot River and see an RV Park and convenience store
called Anglers Roost on your left. Go .5 miles father north and
you will see Skalkaho Highway 38 departing to the right or east.
Take this road for 2.5 miles to the south and east until you see
Fish Hatchery Road on the left or north side. Take Fish Hatchery
Road to the North for .5 mile. We are on the left or east side of
the road with a large log mailbox. Our road number is 620 Fish Hatchery
Road.
